Google Drive has poor user interface which can lead to lost of your data. ![]() When you try to delete origin or “strangely copied” file – in both cases, file in another location will also disappear! Be careful of this! I do not understand how google drive developers could design this non standard not expected behavior for such simple operation as copying file. To create a shortcut to another file within Google Drive, select the file and copy it (Ctrl+C or Command+C) and then use the Ctrl+Shift+C keyboard shortcut on Windows, or Command+Shift+C on Mac. ![]() So what is it? Surely nothing standard or expected. Tips: In a shared library in SharePoint or Microsoft Teams. When done, you can Close the installation dialog.
